Menswear - What kind of guy are you?

We paired these menswear fashion week looks from Spring/Summer 2018 with a complementary spirit. These masculine bottles reflect the seasonal colors of the New York Runways.

Inspirations

Designers gain inspiration from natural elements quite often. From Chanel's waterfall skirt to Oscar de la Renta's gradient night sky tulle, these looks all mirror a piece of nature.

Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion week has come to an end and we've collected all of the common trends that ruled the runway. Here are the looks from Paris that incorporated similar components.

LEATHER- Many designers used leather to create sleek looks and unique statement pieces such as a pencil skirt, jumpsuit, trench coat, lace up pants, and high-waisted shorts.

LONG & FLOWY- These looks flowed down the runway. Designers used romantic silks and chiffons to create effortless fluid movement.

RUFFLED TEXTURES- While tulle has been a prominent element during Fashion Week 2017, designers also used ruffles and textures to add voluminous dimension to their creations.

EXAGGERATED PANT SUITS- Here we see how designers transformed pant suits with exaggerated elements.  Akris used oversized appliqués, Alexander McQueen executed oversized shoulders, Givenchy showcased a cinched waist, Balmain incorporated bold and contrasting prints and John Galliano applied many different design aspects including pleats, ruffles, and a longline blazer.

Milan Fashion Week

During Milan Fashion Week, we saw reoccurring trends such as metallics from New York and asymmetrical silhouettes from London. While these trends are circulating internationally, each designers' interpretation has been unique.

NYFW Day 6: A Pop of Color

On day 6 (and a bit of day 2) of NYFW we saw similar design elements on different silhouettes and runways. However, the application of the designs were unique for each designer. Oscar de la Renta added a multicolor paint splatter, Carolina Herrera incorporated an abstract confetti-like design, Neubyrne used colorful paillettes and Rosie Assoulin arranged a rainbow of sea shells across her canvas.

NYFW Day 5: Breaking Barriers

Prabal Gurung is known for his political statements during fashion week. In past shows, he has demonstrated his support for women's rights. Yesterday, he did just that by including models of every shape, size and color. Sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid walked the runway along with plus size and transgender models. By using such diversified women, Gurung is truly breaking down barriers on the runway.

NYFW Day 1: Modern Metallics

NYFW Spring/Summer 2018 kicked off with some shimmer and shine. While not all designers showcased metallics, this trend was quite the rage for some. Tom Ford, Greta Constantine, Pamella Roland and Rosetta Getty presented these eye catching looks from their ready-to-wear collections.
