No. 2 PLAID

So many color pairings designed for so many garments... YES! We're talking plaid. From the perfect pant, to maxi skirts, and to-die-for coats, plaid shows up on the runway, in your favorite boutiques, and on the streets you walk daily. The key to rocking these bold patterns: let plaid steal the show as the feature item of your outfit. For this particular trend think inside the lines!

THE TREND                Street style

From Left to Right: Altuzarra, Plaid Pant

Spunky and cool, the plaid pant can be polished or edgy. The wide leg pant paired with this blouse and cardigan makes for one swanky schoolgirl inspired look.

From Left to Right: Chloe, Plaid Top With Patterned Pant

Mixing and matching patterns requires a little risk! These stripes and patterns compliment one another while the matching hues are key to making this look work for you!

From Left to Right: Yang Li, Plaid Skirt

A semi sheer plaid skirt offers an abundance of styling freedom. Theses tall boots, fur, and matching cap are one chic way to rock it.

From Left to Right: Roland Mouret, Plaid Coat

Patterned outerwear is one way to spice up any outfit. This oversized coat, paired with simple black accessories and denim, steals the limelight!

No. 1 Fringe

Fringe adds a free-spirited element to any look. The key is to let fringe be the focal point of the outfit, and not be infringed upon by other trendy elements. Fringe, done right, is one chic dream!

THE TREND                       STREET STYLE

From Left to Right: NOMIA,  Fringe Dress

Fringe dresses double as both flirty and classy, with accessory selection being the determinant. We love this street style look, which embraces the fringe in a rebellious way with leather and sneakers.

From Left to Right: Saint Laurent, Fringe Bag

A fringe tote offers just enough flare to spice up any outfit...  Red fringe adds the perfect amount of pop against an all black outfit!

From Left to Right: Saint Laurent, Fringe Jacket

Worn with neutral hues for a more polished look, a fringe jacket is the quintessential boho-chic piece to add to your wardrobe this season.

From Left to Right: Aquazzura, Fringe Boot

Nothing makes an outfit rock more than fringe around your feet. With straight lines and fitted silhouettes, fringe boots are guaranteed to make any outfit a head-turner!
