NYFW Day 4: Matching Sets

Two piece outfits are a dream come true when trying to coordinate an outfit. While I do not care for matching pajama type sets, structured styles give a smart, stylish look. These matching sets are all fresh and modern. It's a look that many celebrities have been wearing and definitely a look that will carry through Spring/Summer 2018.

NYFW Day 2: The Little Black Dress

The little black dress is a staple in every woman's closet. This classic piece has been interpreted many different ways over the years. On day 2 of NYFW, designers showed us their take on the LBD. All these looks sport a feminine silhouette, each with a different twist.

Phrase of the week: Street Style

street style:

Adjective / noun

any offbeat or avant-garde fashion inspired by contemporary culture of urban street people

Let's be honest, the real runway is on the streets of New York, London, Paris and Milan.  No need to have fear of missing out on the couture shows because the fashion outside is just as amazing.

Spring Street style trends for 2016:

Fur, metallics, Army jackets,  leather, embellishments, embroidery, complementary colors, and floral patterns

LONDON FASHION WEEK: 90's GLAMOUR GRUNGE

Dark eyes, vampy lips, and 90’s comebacks were all the rage at London Fashion Week, where glamour grunge stole the spotlight. Christopher Kane, Marques' Almeida, Ashley Williams, Mary Katrantzou, Burberry Prorsum, and Preen Line played on pieces like the classic black choker, the jumper, oversized sweaters, and fringed denim creating a 90’s immersion.  Not to mention the sneakers and dress combination is our 90’s obsession!
